Rich Horton's Market Summaries:

Summary: Trunk Stories, 2005

William Smith has been putting out this tiny 'zine once a year for three years now. The focus is definitely on quirky stories -- sometimes funny, sometimes just plain different. This issue features 6 stories, one nearly novelette length (7300 words by my not necessarily precise count), the others all short-shorts, total length just over 12,000 words.

My favorite story was definitely the long one, Carole Lanham's "The Good Part", about a boy's love-hate relationship with his sister, who is a vampire, both emotionally and literally. It's a good, affecting, even wrenching story, and it bears comparison with another Lanham story, "The Reading Lessons", from Son and Foe.
